The Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FCT FA) has unveiled six standing committees to accelerate football growth and development in the nation’s capital.
Chairman of the FCT FA, Mouktar Mohammed, made the announcement on Monday in Abuja, highlighting the critical roles the committees will play in sustaining football progress across the region.
The committees include the Technical and Development Committee, chaired by Bassey Patrick; the Competitions and Events Committee, led by Salihu Kolo; the Finance and Sponsorship Committee, headed by Dr. John Gabaya; the Ethics and Disciplinary Committee, under Hashimu Adams; the Media and Public Relations Committee, chaired by Uche Nwudoh; and the Women’s Committee, led by Pat Ajuma.
Mohammed noted that the committee members were carefully selected based on their expertise and dedication to advancing football in the FCT.
“As we inaugurate these committees, we reiterate our commitment to transforming football in the FCT into a model for other regions,” Mohammed stated. “We believe that collaboration among stakeholders will propel the sport to greater heights.”
The initiative reflects the FCT FA’s determination to foster innovation and inclusivity in football management and development.
