Ex NFF President Pinnick tags Davido for not performing at event after receiving payment

David Adeleke, Popularly known as Davido, an Afrobeats musician, has come under serious tags from Amaju Pinnick, a former head of the Nigerian Football Federation, for ignoring the show at the 19th edition of Warri Again.

The ‘Unavailable’ cronner reportedly earned $94,600 for his appearance at the event in Delta State, according to the FIFA executive.

Pinnick added that the state spent an additional $18,000 to charter a jet to convey Davido and his team to Warri.

The event took place on Friday, October 6, and the football official expressed disappointment that the superstar was not present.

OBO aka Davido, who was named as the headline act for the event, was eventually replaced with “Evien” crooner Shallipop.

Pinnick who told the crowd present at the event is currently a member of the FIFA Executive Council, and was the president of the NFF between October 2014 and October 2022.
