Europa League final: Scholes predicts Man Utd vs Tottenham clash

Europa League final – Former Manchester United midfielder, Paul Scholes, has admitted that he has “no logical reason” for predicting next week’s Europa League final between the Red Devils and Tottenham.

Both clubs have endured miserable campaigns in the Premier League, sitting in 16th and 17th positions respectively.

However, they will have a shot at redemption in Bilbao, as a win for either side will see them qualify for the Champions League.

Spurs and United have played each other three times already this season, with Ange Postecoglou’s men winning all of the fixtures.

“Realistically they (Tottenham) should win it. They have beaten us in the last three games.

“I think they will probably be the best team on the night, play really well but we will win.

“We seem to find 10 or 15 minute spells where we win games. I think that’s what will happen,” Scholes told The Overlap.
