Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has given the green light for Hannibal Mejbri to join Burnley.
Mejbri will join the recently-relegated side on a loan deal with an obligation to buy.
The Tunisian international has been deemed surplus to requirements by Ten Hag.
The midfielder signed for the Red Devils from Monaco in 2019 in a deal worth a potential £9million.
He went on to make 13 first-team appearances having broken through the first team under Ralf Rangnick.
Hannibal spent the 2022-23 campaign on loan with Birmingham City, before spending the second half of last term with Spanish side Sevilla.
The 21-year-old made headlines in 2022, when he got involved in a training group scuffle.
After an embarrassing 4-0 defeat to Brighton, then-head coach, Ralf Rangnick was forced to end a training session early after it was reported that Mejbri and teammate Alex Telles were involved in an altercation.
