Manchester United’s young forward, Mason Greenwood, has made his return to training on a football pitch for the first time since his arrest last year.
The 21-year-old was captured in training by The Sun, participating in a session with a private coach. The images show him working on various aspects of his game, including close control and shooting, during the 90-minute session held at a public sports center.
While Greenwood has resumed training, he remains suspended by Manchester United as the club continues its internal investigation into the matter. It’s worth noting that charges of attempted rape, assault, and coercive and controlling behavior against Greenwood were dropped in February.
Although he was recently included in the club’s list of retained players for the upcoming season, sources indicate that his inclusion was primarily due to his existing contract with the club rather than a reflection of his current standing within the team.
