Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher, has said that Manchester United’s Kobbie Mainoo will be “a superstar”.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Carragher admitted he enjoys watching the England midfielder play.
Mainoo enjoyed a breakout season under Erik ten Hag last year.
The 19-year-old was also called up for Euro 2024, where the Three Lions lost in the final to Spain.
Carragher said: “I think he has been an absolute revelation. I love watching him play and what he did in the summer.
“He came through last season, we were asking questions about United’s midfield. Casemiro needs a partner, now Mainoo needs a partner. I think he is going to be a superstar.”
