Elton John Confirms Retirement from Touring

Legendary British singer Elton John, 77, has officially announced his retirement from touring in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. His final concert took place in Stockholm, Sweden, last July.

Reflecting on his decision, Elton John said, “We concluded on the highest note possible, exactly as I wanted, and there’s no turning back after that.”

His farewell tour, which ended early last year, earned $939 million from 328 shows, making it the highest-grossing music tour in history at the time. However, Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras’ tour later surpassed this record, generating $1 billion in revenue. highrevenuenetwork.com/9e9a5ee8183bdc3f8ca0807126145712/invoke.js

The “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour consisted of 330 concerts worldwide, beginning in Allentown, Pennsylvania, in September 2018 and concluding in Stockholm, Sweden, in July 2023.
