EFCC Allegedly Targeting Portable Over Alleged Naira Abuse, Singer Expresses Fear of Imminent Arrest.

Controversial musician Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has raised alarm over purported plans by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to apprehend him on accusations of Naira abuse.

From his current location abroad, Portable voiced concerns that upon his return to Nigeria, he anticipates being detained by EFCC operatives.

The ‘Zazu’ hitmaker, who recently appealed to EFCC for leniency in the event of any substantiated claims of Naira abuse, now finds himself in the crosshairs following allegations made by self-proclaimed social media influencer, VeryDarkMan.

In an Instagram live interaction with his fans, Portable expressed trepidation, stating, “I am apprehensive. The EFCC is allegedly scheming to apprehend me upon my reentry into Nigeria, citing VeryDarkMan’s involvement.”

Directing pointed remarks at VeryDarkMan, Portable criticized the activist’s vocal stance, questioning his authority in law enforcement matters and implying a lack of credibility in his commentary.

As tensions escalate, Portable’s plight underscores the complexities surrounding online accountability and legal repercussions in Nigeria’s social media landscape.
