In an exclusive interview on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief program, renowned Nigerian content creator Bayegun Oluwatoyin, professionally known as Woli Arole, sheds light on the ongoing trend of churches consistently inviting him to perform, despite his primary role as a comedian.
Discussing his thriving career, Woli Arole attributes the frequent church invitations to his meticulous approach in avoiding topics that may offend religious sentiments. Emphasizing his commitment to respecting sacred beliefs, he highlights his content’s adherence to boundaries, ensuring he refrains from blasphemous humor.
“I don’t cross certain boundaries; I don’t indulge in blasphemy. Our faith is sacred, and there are limits that must be observed. I focused on spreading positive vibes during my active years as a comedian. There are jokes I steer clear of because I recognize the sanctity of all faiths,” he explained, addressing the concerns that religious individuals often have with content creators who may lack sensitivity in their comedic expressions.
