Celine Dion scheduled to perform at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

Renowned Canadian singer Celine Dion is scheduled to perform at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Despite facing the challenges of Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), Dion is set to take the stage along with other artists like Dua Lipa and Aya Nakamura at the event.

The highly anticipated Olympics will kick off on Friday, July 26, 2024, and will conclude on August 11, 2024, in Paris, France.

Reports suggest that the 2024 Paris Olympics are expected to draw a massive crowd of over 600,000 spectators, with the event broadcasted on 80 giant screens in public locations across the city.

Notably, the opening ceremony, to be directed by Thomas Jolly, will be held outside of a traditional Olympic stadium for the first time in history.

Celine Dion’s upcoming performance at the Olympics follows her recent public appearance at the 2024 Grammy Awards ceremony, demonstrating her resilience and dedication to her craft despite health challenges.
