An Indrive cab driver, Francis Njoku, who was accused of stealing a package by actress Adunni Ade, has threatened to sue her for defamation.
The incident began when Adunni Ade alleged that Njoku refused to deliver her package after ending the trip and took off with it, leading to a public outcry against the ride-hailing service on social media.
Following Adunni’s complaints, the ride-hailing service locked Njoku’s profile, and he eventually delivered the package to Adunni.
In response to the accusations and threats of legal action from Njoku, Adunni shared screenshots of her conversations with him and her fashion designer, who had sent the package.
Njoku expressed displeasure at the allegations made against him and insisted on an apology from Adunni and the removal of the posts implicating him on social media.
Adunni, in her defense, stated that she never lies or cheats anyone and stood by her version of events.
She criticized Njoku’s behavior during the incident, describing him as rude, ill-mannered, arrogant, uncivilized, and entitled.
She emphasized the importance of honesty and integrity in all interactions and expressed her disappointment in Njoku’s conduct.
