Nigeria – Former President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his condolences to the Minister of Labour and Employment, Alhaji Maigari Dingyadi, over the death of his mother, Hajiya Hauwa’u Abubakar.
In a telephone call on Sunday, Buhari described the late Hajiya Hauwa’u as an inspirational figure whose life was a testament to commitment and values.
Hajiya Hauwa’u passed away recently, leaving behind a legacy of devotion to family and community.

In a statement released by his media aide, Garba Shehu on Monday, Buhari shared his sorrow and prayed for the repose of the deceased.
“Her long life teaches us about commitment to family and community, and a life committed to values. These are lessons that will guide future generations. I pray for the peace of her soul,” he said.
The former president also offered words of comfort to Minister Dingyadi, who previously served as Minister of Police Affairs in his administration.
Buhari commended the late Hajiya Hauwa’u for her enduring legacy, which he said would continue to inspire those who knew her.
