Renowned Nigerian musician, Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has officially ended his enduring partnership with Efe Omorogbe, the Chief Executive Officer of the prominent talent management firm, Now Muzik.
The revelation unfolded through a joint communiqué shared on Instagram by Now Muzik, signifying an immediate and mutual parting of ways, as articulated in the statement.
Expressing gratitude, Omorogbe conveyed that collaborating with 2Baba transcended professional realms, characterizing it as an experience “beyond work.” Reflecting on their prolific two-decade alliance, he pledged ongoing support for the artist, albeit from a different vantage point.
2Baba reciprocated the sentiment, acknowledging the pivotal role played by Efe and the Now Muzik team in his career. Despite his appreciation, the artist asserted that every remarkable journey must eventually reach its conclusion.
Recalling historical context, it is noteworthy that 2Baba aligned with Now Muzik management in 2004 after departing from The Plantashun Boiz. Going forward, the singer will be under the representation of his new management entity, Hypertek Digital.
