The Governor of Benue State, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia is partnering with the Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA) to initiate road infrastructure across the state.
The governor gave the update at the Grand Finale of the Igede Agba Festival and Prayer Summit, which took place in Oju local government area.
Father Alia also disclosed that the state government, through the Ministry of Education, is currently working to enhance the quality of education by providing comprehensive training for all teachers in public schools.
On the recurring communal challenges, the governor said the state will engage with the Border Commission and work closely with traditional rulers to find practical and lasting solutions.
Governor Alia commended the Igede community for organising the summit, which brought to light critical issues affecting the state and provided a platform for constructive dialogue and collaboration.
