Lagos, Nigeria — Africa’s most-watched reality television show, Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), returned with a bang as organisers unveiled the housemates for its tenth season during a two-day launch that began Saturday, July 26.
The 2025 edition, themed around legacy and cultural impact, will run for 90 days, with contestants vying for the largest prize in the show’s history — a ₦150 million grand reward, which includes cash and sponsor gifts.
Executive Head of Content at MultiChoice West Africa, Dr. Busola Tejumola, described the season as a celebration of BBNaija’s evolving legacy.
“This is not just a new season,” Tejumola noted, “it’s the celebration of a legacy. Big Brother Naija has become a living, breathing part of our culture. We’ve redefined what it means to create homegrown content at scale.”
According to her, Season 10 will feature new twists, greater audience interactivity, and heightened expectations as organisers aim to elevate the viewing experience.
The show will be broadcast 24/7 on DStv Channel 198 and GOtv Channel 49.
With a mix of fresh personalities and intense competition, BBNaija Season 10 promises a thrilling 10-week journey filled with drama, entertainment, and cultural relevance.
