Bayer Leverkusen Set €50m Valuation for In-Demand Boniface

Leverkusen, GermanyBundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen have placed a €50 million price tag on Nigerian striker Victor Boniface as speculation intensifies over his future ahead of the summer transfer window.

Boniface, 24, is widely expected to make a move away from the BayArena following manager Xabi Alonso’s exit to Real Madrid. His departure could open the door for Leverkusen to restructure their squad and welcome new arrivals.

The powerful forward was reportedly on the verge of a lucrative switch to Saudi Arabian outfit Al Nassr during the January transfer window but the deal failed to materialize.

According to German tabloid BILD, Leverkusen are open to sanctioning his transfer this summer, with Premier League and Bundesliga sides said to be monitoring his situation closely.

Boniface found the net 11 times in 27 appearances for Die Werkself during the 2024/25 campaign, underlining his value as one of the club’s key attacking assets.

He joined the German outfit in 2023 from Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise, and has since developed into one of the most sought-after Nigerian talents in European football.
