Nigerian artist Ahmed Ololade, known by his stage name Asake, has announced plans for a second performance at the prestigious London O2 Arena.
The O2 Arena, established in 2007, is the third-largest indoor venue in the UK, following Co-op Live and Manchester Arena. Notably, it was the world’s busiest music arena in 2008.
Asake shared the news on his Instagram page, @asakemusic, expressing excitement about the upcoming event and his desire to make history once again.
As part of his ‘Lungu Boy World Tour’, Asake will perform at the 20,000-capacity venue on September 21.
“I’m super excited to announce that my tour, ‘Lungu Boy World Tour’, is coming to a city near you. London Lungu BY is Active @theo2london Saturday, September 21st,” Asake posted, along with the tour flyer.
The tour, which began in Portimao, Portugal, on June 20, will conclude on October 6 in Gold Coast, Australia.
Last year, Asake achieved a major milestone with a sold-out performance at the O2 Arena, cementing his rising status in the music industry.
