APC chieftain condemns Tony Okocha’s verbal attacks on judiciary

Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has condemned the frequent verbal attacks on the judiciary by Tony Okocha.

Eze called on the media to forthwith, desist from according any form of recognition to Okocha as Rivers APC chairman, stressing that there is only one lawful and undisputed party structure headed by Emeka Beke.

The erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New Peoples Democratic party spoke in a statement made available on Monday.

He expressed dismay over Okocha’s unruly comments against the judiciary and urged him to desist from masquerading as Rivers APC Caretaker Committee chairman.

Eze stated that Okocha is an unruly agent who plays the spoiler’s script for former Rivers Governor and FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, describing him as a total stranger, unknown to the party in the state.

The statement said,”The Nigerian Bar Association is aware and the public is notified to regard all comments and nosy-poky indulgences of Okocha on any issue as personal to him and his overlord – the FCT Minister.

“The uncultured manners, moral defects and sense of mental ill-being Mr Okocha has displayed is such that merit decisive disciplinary measures, in this instance expulsion; but the Rivers APC can only take action against a person who is a member.

“Okocha is not a member of the Rivers APC, his name is nowhere on the party’s register, else he would have been expelled long before now.”
