Abuja, Nigeria — The All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on its members to uphold unwavering loyalty to the party, drawing inspiration from the steadfast commitment demonstrated by former President Muhammadu Buhari.
The appeal was made in a statement released today in Abuja by the APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
Emphasizing Buhari’s dedication, the ruling party acknowledged the former president’s recent public reaffirmation of his allegiance to the APC and its current leadership.
“We commend the former President for his unshaken loyalty to the party,” Morka stated. “His declaration—‘I am an APC member, and I like to be addressed as such. I will try to popularize the party by all means’—reflects his unwavering commitment to the ideals and progress of the APC.”
The statement further applauded Buhari for dispelling attempts by certain individuals to associate him with divergent political interests.
“The former President’s steadfast support for our great party, which twice entrusted him with the nation’s highest office, reinforces his well-earned reputation for integrity and statesmanship,” Morka affirmed.
The APC reiterated its belief that Buhari’s example should serve as a guiding principle for all members, emphasizing that loyalty and commitment are essential in sustaining the party’s vision for national progress.
