Anambra First Lady Calls for Compassion Towards Underprivileged Children on Children’s Day

The wife of the Governor of Anambra State, Nonye Soludo, has urged compassionate Nigerians to prioritize providing care and support for underprivileged children, particularly those in orphanages nationwide.

Mrs. Soludo made this appeal during her visit to the Model Community Children’s Home in Awka to commemorate Children’s Day.

Highlighting the importance of Children’s Day, Mrs. Soludo emphasized that the day serves as an opportunity to express love and care for the younger generation.

The Anambra State First Lady stressed the urgent need to protect, provide for, and nurture all children, regardless of their background, as they represent the future of the nation.

Her visit aimed to make the children feel loved and valued, embodying the essence of Children’s Day in improving their lives.

Expressing gratitude for the visit, the Coordinator of Model Community Children’s Home Awka, Rev. Sister Philomena Akuchukwu, praised Mrs. Soludo as a caring, humble, and God-fearing individual.

Rev. Akuchukwu pledged that the orphanage would continue to pray for the well-being and progress of Anambra State.
