Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – In an escalating pursuit to secure the services of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, Saudi Pro League powerhouse Al-Hilal have reportedly increased their salary offer in a renewed attempt to finalize a deal.
According to reports originating from Italy, the club is determined to meet both the financial and contractual demands required to land the prolific forward.
The 26-year-old has reportedly declined as many as four previous proposals from Al-Hilal, including an earlier offer valued at €30 million annually. However, recent updates from Corriere dello Sport indicate that the Saudi outfit has raised their wage offer to €40 million per season, reflecting their continued determination to convince Osimhen to make the switch.
In addition to the enhanced salary proposal, Al-Hilal are said to be prepared to activate the €75 million release clause embedded in Osimhen’s current contract, signaling a serious intent to close the deal.
