Al-Hilal Raises Osimhen Salary Offer to €160 Million

Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaIn an escalating pursuit to secure the services of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, Saudi Pro League powerhouse Al-Hilal have reportedly increased their salary offer in a renewed attempt to finalize a deal.

According to reports originating from Italy, the club is determined to meet both the financial and contractual demands required to land the prolific forward.

The 26-year-old has reportedly declined as many as four previous proposals from Al-Hilal, including an earlier offer valued at €30 million annually. However, recent updates from Corriere dello Sport indicate that the Saudi outfit has raised their wage offer to €40 million per season, reflecting their continued determination to convince Osimhen to make the switch.

In addition to the enhanced salary proposal, Al-Hilal are said to be prepared to activate the €75 million release clause embedded in Osimhen’s current contract, signaling a serious intent to close the deal. The proposed contract would span three years, with an optional fourth year, potentially bringing Osimhen’s total earnings under the agreement to an impressive €160 million.

Al-Hilal’s ambitious pursuit underscores the broader trend of Middle Eastern clubs making significant investments in top-tier talent to elevate the competitiveness and global visibility of their domestic leagues. The move, if successful, would mark a major addition to the club’s roster and a headline-grabbing transfer in the international football market.

Meanwhile, Turkish champions Galatasaray are also actively working on a permanent deal for Osimhen. The Istanbul-based club, which recently enjoyed domestic success, remains keen on adding the Nigerian international to their squad as they prepare for an upcoming campaign that includes European competition.

As the summer transfer window progresses, all eyes remain on Osimhen’s next move, with growing anticipation around whether he will take the Saudi offer, consider Galatasaray’s terms, or await alternative opportunities from Europe’s top leagues. With a proven record of performance and international appeal, Osimhen continues to command high interest across multiple continents.
