The Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and economist Pat Utomi on Tuesday paid a visit to the home of late Ondo State governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in Jericho, Ibadan.
The two men went to express their condolences to the late governor’s wife, Betty Akeredolu. Akeredolu died on Wednesday after battling prostate cancer for an extended period of time. This visit shows how highly regarded the late governor was by his political colleagues and the people of Ondo State.
After the death of Ondo State governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, Kogi State governor Yahaya Bello and the state’s governor-elect, Ahmed Ododo, were among those who visited the Akeredolu family’s home.
