Former Nigerian footballer Ifeanyi Udeze has urged the Super Eagles to tackle their upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) quarter-final encounter with Angola with the same determination displayed in their previous game against Cameroon in the round of 16.
Udeze, speaking to Brila FM in anticipation of the match, cautioned that Angola should not be underestimated, emphasizing their demonstrated capabilities in the ongoing tournament.
Having faced Angola in his own playing days, Udeze highlighted their historical tendency to give their all when playing against Nigeria, urging the Eagles to adopt a strategy akin to their successful approach against Cameroon. The clash between Nigeria and Angola is scheduled for Friday in the AFCON quarter-finals.
