Mrs Caroline Wura-Ola Adepoju has been appointed and attested as the substantive Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).
Adepoju made this know while addressing men and officers of the NIS at a routine parade on Wednesday.
She said the date for her decoration would soon be made public in due time.
“You may also wish to know that through the grace of God and by the benevolence of the present government, I have been confirmed the substantive Comptroller-general of Immigration,” Adepoju said.
Previously, Adepoju was the most senior Deputy Comptroller-General (DCG) appointed as the acting CG to man the saddle of leadership at the NIS.
She continued from her predecessor, Isah Jere, whose tenure expired on May 29, 2023.
