The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, and his wife, Pastor Foluke Adeboye, were among more than 13,000 worshippers who gathered for ‘The Outpouring,’ a worship event recently held in New York by renowned worship leader Minister Dunsin Oyekan.
In addition to the thousands who attended in person, hundreds of thousands participated online globally, experiencing a night of profound spiritual encounters.
This worship movement began in the United States with the Upper Room Worship Experience in Maryland in March 2024, where the 10,000-seat City of Praise Family Ministries venue was filled to capacity. That night was marked by intense worship, heartfelt prayers, and numerous miracles and testimonies.
Oyekan had previously remarked, “after the Upper Room comes the Outpouring,” referencing the biblical experiences of the Apostles in the book of Acts. This statement became a reality just three months after the Maryland event.
On June 23, 2024, the UBS Arena hosted an extraordinary night of worship, intercessory prayers, healing, deliverance, and numerous miracles, known as the Outpouring New York. The event drew over 13,000 participants to the arena, with hundreds of thousands joining live via the Internet.
