A Simple Guide to Accessing Your 2025 UTME Results

Abuja, NigeriaThe Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the release of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.

The examination, which commenced on Thursday, April 24, witnessed participation from over 1.9 million candidates across the country.

In data released on Monday, JAMB revealed that out of 1,955,069 candidates, 420,415—approximately 21.5 percent—scored above 200. More than 75 percent of test takers scored below that mark, while less than one percent achieved scores above 300.

The board also noted that 40,247 candidates were identified as underage, with only 467 (1.16%) of them reaching the threshold for exceptional performance. These individuals are slated for further evaluation.

To help candidates easily access their results, JAMB has outlined two official methods—through the eFacility portal and via SMS. Below is a simplified guide for each option:

Method 1: Online via JAMB eFacility Portal

1. Access the Portal

Open your web browser and go to https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/login.

2. Log In

Enter the email address and password you used during UTME registration.

3. Check Your Results

Click the “Check UTME Results” button to view your subject scores

Method 2: Via SMS

1. Open Your Messaging App

Launch the SMS application on your phone.

2. Compose Message

Type RESULT followed by your JAMB Registration Number (e.g., RESULT 12345678AB).

3. Send Message

Text it to 55019 or 66019, JAMB’s official result-checking lines.

4. Receive Your Scores

You will get an SMS response showing your subject scores and overall performance.

JAMB urges candidates to use only the approved platforms to avoid misinformation and result scams.
