The National Examinations Council (NECO) has postponed the 2024 National Common Entrance Examination for entry into Federal Unity Colleges and the admission test for the Federal Government Academy, Suleja.
The announcement was disclosed to the press in Abuja on Tuesday by Azeez Sani, the interim Director of Information and Digital Communication at the council.
Sani mentioned that the common entrance test, initially set for April 20, 2024, has been moved to June 1, 2024.
Furthermore, he indicated that the examination for academically gifted and talented youngsters seeking admission to the Federal Government Academy, Suleja, which was originally planned for May 4, 2024, has been rescheduled to May 25, 2024.
He noted that the decision to postpone both examinations arose from the insufficient number of candidates enrolled.
He urged all candidates, parents, guardians, educational institutions, and other concerned parties to take note of the revised dates.
Sani stated that the enrollment of candidates would remain open until the rescheduled examination dates.
