Nigerian Hip-hop artist, Peruzzi sent court threats to social media user over framed tweet despite apology

Popular singer, Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, popularly known as Peruzzi, has refused the apology of a social media user and is set to sue him to court. The social media user falsely provided a screenshot of a supposed tweet by him claiming that his boss in the music industry, Davido, broke ties with him because of his alleged affair with Chioma, his wife.

On Wednesday, the singer debunked the trending false report that claimed that he made an incriminating tweet about Davido and deleted it almost immediately.

Following his refute, @belikebaddy, the social media user behind the false screenshot apologized to the hip-hop stars involved, Peruzzi and Davido on Thursday and promised that there won’t be reoccurrence of such.

“I apologize for posting an edited tweet which involved @peruzzi and @davido. I take full responsibility for all my actions have caused, and I promise it’ll never happen again. My apologies to DMW Management,” he wrote.

However, after reposting the apology tweet, Peruzzi said he was still going to take legal action.

“Yall retweet this, so he can have money for court,” the singer wrote.

In a recent tweet, Peruzzi said: “God forgives, I do too. But not this time. F**k that.”
