In a swift operation, the notorious suspected kidnapper, Dahiru Adamu, who topped the list of wanted criminals in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has been successfully apprehended.
This significant breakthrough transpired a mere three days after FCT Minister Nyesom Wike declared a reward of N20 million for information leading to the capture of Dahiru Adamu and his accomplice, Abu Ibrahim.
The apprehended individuals were identified as key perpetrators responsible for instigating chaos within the nation’s capital, engaging in abductions and ruthless killings of unsuspecting citizens.
FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, officially affirmed the arrest in a statement provided exclusively to DAILY POST on Friday.
Sources report that the arrest unfolded during a meticulous operation conducted by the Command’s operatives, raiding two kidnappers’ strongholds situated on the border of Nasarawa and the FCT, near Kuje Area Council, on Thursday.
Dahiru Adamu, recognized as the ringleader of the kidnapping syndicate recently paraded by the Police Command on Wednesday, is now in custody, marking a significant stride in the fight against criminal elements in the region.
