Super Eagles’ skilled goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, has received the green light to participate in the upcoming clash between the Super Eagles and Angola this Friday, according to a report by DAILY POST.
Nwabali’s participation had been uncertain due to a minor ligament injury sustained during the Super Eagles’ triumphant Round of 16 encounter against Cameroon. However, the Chippa United shot stopper has successfully recuperated from the injury.
Aged 27, Nwabali engaged in a full training session alongside his teammates at the Police College, Cocody, Abidjan, on Wednesday night, showcasing his readiness for the forthcoming match.
Notably, the goalkeeper has exhibited an impressive track record, conceding only once in four appearances for the Super Eagles during the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
The highly anticipated quarter-final showdown between the Super Eagles and the Black Antelopes is scheduled to unfold at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan.
