The Head and Chief of the Nigerian Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar has visited Port Harcourt to assess the situation, and encourage personnel of 115 Special Operations Group (105 SOG) Following the unfortunate crash of a NAF MI-35P helicopter on 1st December.
While addressing the personnel of 115 SOG, Air Marshal Abubakar encouraged them to see the setback as a setup for a resilient comeback, channelling efforts towards thwarting the activities of economic saboteurs and countering oil theft.
According to the statement released by Director of Public Relations and Information of NAF Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, the Chief of the Air Staff urged personnel to see air mishaps or accidents as impetus to propel all NAF personnel towards seeking improved safety management measures, while remaining undeterred and focused in tackling the myriads of security threats facing the nation.
