We Will Transform Osun To Industrial Hub – Adeleke

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has expressed the commitment of his administration to changing the narratives of the state from a civil service economy to a thriving Industrial hub.

He expressed this commitment when he opened the “Osun 2023 Trade Fair” organised by Osun State Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (OSUCCIMA) in collaboration with Osun State Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

Adeleke, who was represented by the deputy governor, Prince Kola Adewusi, said this year’s trade fair tagged, “Unlocking the Industrialisation Potentials of Osun State through Mining, Agriculture and SMS Industries” is unique because of its inclusiveness in all areas of economy.

According to him, the fiesta was organised to boost the capacity and quality of Osun Industries through an economic development plan, facilitate the exchange of technical and commercial information and expose and promote the vast investment and business opportunities in Osun State to mention but few.

The governor therefore enjoined people at the grassroots, from all local governments and council areas, to come out and showcase their comparative advantage areas for improved revenue generation.

Earlier, the commissioner for commerce and industry, Rev. Bunmi Jenyo, acknowledged the fact that Osun State is blessed with diverse natural resources, including favourable weather and fertile land.

He stressed that the Adeleke-led administration is committed towards leveraging on agriculture in revamping the economy of the State.
