The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) is poised to enhance its operations for the purpose of further reducing road accidents and ensuring the safety of highways, thereby facilitating socio-economic activities in the country.
Corps Marshal Dauda Ali-Biu conveyed this commitment in Abuja during the decoration ceremony of Bisi Kazeem, the newly promoted Deputy Corps Marshal representing the South-West.
Ali-Biu highlighted the federal government’s provision of essential logistical support to bolster FRSC operations including the establishment of additional commands, the deployment of adequate equipment and manpower, all aimed at curbing the recklessness of road users, especially during the ongoing Ember Months Campaign and beyond.
The FRSC Boss urged the newly promoted Deputy Corps Marshal, Bisi Kazeem, to leverage his extensive experience to contribute to effective road management in the country.
He emphasized that the federal government meticulously followed due process in the promotion exercise leading to Kazeem’s appointment.
In response, Deputy Corps Marshal Bisi Kazeem expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for approving his appointment.
He pledged to redouble efforts to contribute significantly to the FRSC’s overarching goal.
