Enugu, Nigeria — Ahead of the Nigerian Bar Association’s national conference, NBA President Mazi Afam Osuigwe (SAN) led thousands of lawyers on a 10-kilometre health walk through Enugu City.
The walk, a staple event at the NBA’s annual gathering, highlighted the importance of physical and mental wellness in a demanding legal profession.
Osuigwe described the experience as exhilarating and emphasized that maintaining good health is essential for lawyers to effectively serve justice and society.
Participants praised Enugu for its cleanliness and warm hospitality, expressing appreciation for the opportunity to attend the conference in such a welcoming city.
Venatus Odo, Chairman of NBA Enugu, lauded the energetic participation of lawyers from across Nigeria and expressed confidence that attendees would leave with fond memories.
The 2025 NBA Annual General Conference runs from August 22 to 29 under the theme “Stand Out, Stand Tall,” featuring intellectual sessions, debates, and social activities for legal professionals nationwide.
