Milan, Italy — AC Milan’s director Igli Tare has disclosed that the club has yet to finalize a decision on acquiring Nigeria’s Victor Boniface, according to reports from Newsmen
The Rossoneri agreed on a loan deal with an option to purchase for a combined €30 million from Bayer Leverkusen. However, the transfer has not been officially completed.
Tare told DAZN that while no additional medical tests were done, the club is conducting a thorough evaluation of Boniface’s fitness and medical history.
“His abilities are unquestionable. We are carefully reviewing all factors to make an informed choice,” Tare said.
He added that discussions with head coach Massimiliano Allegri will guide the final verdict.
“We’re approaching the transfer deadline but are not rushing ourselves,” Tare remarked.
The club remains vigilant as they approach the transfer window close.
