Victor Boniface to Complete AC Milan Medicals Today

Milan, ItalyNigerian international Victor Boniface is scheduled to undergo additional medical tests today as part of his anticipated transfer to AC Milan, following initial examinations on Friday.

The 24-year-old striker began his medical process at AC Milan’s club facilities and underwent required examinations by the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI). Further detailed tests took place at the Galeazzi Hospital in Milan.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan called back their trusted orthopaedic surgeon from vacation specifically to oversee Boniface’s assessments due to his history of injuries.

Boniface has experienced muscle problems over the past two seasons during his time at Bayer Leverkusen and had surgeries for anterior cruciate ligament injuries in 2019 and 2020. Despite these challenges, he recorded 11 goals and two assists in 27 appearances last season.

The comprehensive medicals are critical for AC Milan to ensure the striker’s fitness before finalizing his signing, with final decisions expected after today’s tests.
