Oyo state, Nigeria–Vice Chancellor of Ladoke University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Prof. Razaq Kalilu, has pledged to prioritize the training and development of core registry administrative staff to strengthen the institution’s administrative capacity.
Prof. Kalilu made the commitment on Wednesday while receiving the National Vice President I and South-West Zonal Leader of the Association of Nigerian University Administrators (ANUA), Mrs. Francisca Ayodele, at the university’s main campus in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
Speaking on behalf of the university management, Kalilu assured that the administration would allocate available resources toward building the capacity of key administrative personnel, describing their role as vital to the effective running and advancement of the university system.
“We will do all that is possible within our available resources to ensure that our Core Registry Administrative Staff are operating at their best. We are committed to investing in their training and professional development,” the Vice Chancellor stated.
Earlier, Mrs. Ayodele informed the Vice Chancellor that her visit was to formally inaugurate the newly elected executive committee of ANUA’s LAUTECH branch. She also highlighted the association’s ongoing training initiatives and appealed for institutional support to enable LAUTECH administrators to participate in the programmes.
