Six Super Eagles players have doled out N24m to the Super Falcons as a reward for the team’s triumph at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The players are captain William Troost-Ekong, Olaoluwa Aina, Ademola Lookman, Alex Iwobi, Leon Balogun, and Joseph Ayodele-Aribo.
The Super Falcons rallied from two goals down to beat hosts Atlas Lionesses of Morocco in the final of the competition on Saturday night.
It was the 10th time Justine Madugu’s side will be winning the title.
The players and their officials returned to the country on Monday.
They were also rewarded by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Governors’ Forum.
