Turin, Italy — Juventus Scouting Director Giorgio Chiellini has categorically rejected reports linking the club to Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, amid swirling transfer speculation this summer.
Osimhen’s loan stint at Galatasaray recently concluded, leaving the 26-year-old forward to consider his next career move. The striker joined the Turkish side last summer on a one-year loan from Napoli, and with his future still undecided, several European clubs, including Juventus, have been mentioned as potential destinations.
Speaking to the press on Thursday, Chiellini dismissed the rumours, saying, “Victor Osimhen transfer? We have nothing to do with Osimhen. The media needs to fill pages and report stories. We read many things that make us laugh. You keep talking, we keep working.”
Juventus currently fields a strong attacking lineup featuring Dušan Vlahović and Randal Kolo Muani. The club is also reportedly close to finalizing a deal for former Lille striker Jonathan David, suggesting their transfer priorities lie elsewhere.
As the summer window continues, the football community eagerly awaits clarity on Osimhen’s next club.
