Lagos, Nigeria — Nigerian music icon David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has sparked excitement among fans after hinting at his much-anticipated white wedding with wife, Chioma Rowland.
In a recent post shared via his Instagram story, the award-winning singer posted a video of Chioma with the caption, “Can August come already?”—a remark that quickly went viral and ignited a fresh wave of buzz across social media.
It was recalls that Davido and Chioma held their traditional wedding ceremony in June 2024 at Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos. The event was a star-studded affair graced by numerous celebrities and dignitaries from the entertainment industry.
The white wedding, according to Davido’s earlier interview on The Breakfast Club, a popular U.S. radio show, is set to take place in August 2025 in Miami, Florida.
“I am doing my white wedding in Miami in August this year,” Davido affirmed during the interview.
The recent countdown marks the beginning of what fans expect to be another memorable milestone in the couple’s love story.
