Tinubu dismisses NASENI head, Gwandu

President Bola Tinubu has terminated the appointment of Dr. Bashir Gwandu as the Executive Vice-Chairman/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI). In his place, Khalil Suleiman Halilu, aged 32, has been appointed as the new Executive Vice Chairman and CEO of NASENI. The appointment is effective immediately, and Halilu will serve for an initial term of five years in accordance with the relevant sections of the NASENI Act, 2014. Khalil Suleiman Halilu is expected to bring his experience as an innovator and technology expert to his new role.
