Umuahia, Nigeria — The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, has advocated for renewed support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, emphasizing the transformational strides of his administration.
In separate meetings with the Tinubu Mandate Support Group (TMSG) and Club 17 Initiative in Umuahia, Kalu described President Tinubu as “a forward-thinking leader committed to shaping Nigeria’s future.”
Highlighting the achievements recorded in the past two years, Kalu pointed to far-reaching economic, social, and governance reforms as proof of Tinubu’s visionary leadership and dedication to national prosperity.
“The future belongs to those who align with progress,” Kalu asserted. He urged the South-Eastern electorate to strengthen alliances with the South-West to ensure President Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, while commending the grassroots efforts of TMSG and Club 17 members in voter education and mobilisation.
Speaking further to the Club 17 delegation, Kalu projected confidence in the APC’s prospects of clinching the 2027 governorship in Abia State. He pledged to continue fortifying the party’s structures and supporting emerging leaders across the South-East.
Mr. Armstrong Okoronkwo, Chairman of the Abia Chapter of TMSG, praised Kalu’s commitment to legislative excellence and expressed readiness to amplify awareness about President Tinubu’s impacts in the region.
In a related development, Prince George Nnanna of Club 17 affirmed the successful deployment of peace marshals across Abia’s wards in alignment with the Peace in South-East Project (PISE-P) and pledged full support for APC’s leadership agenda.
