Lagos, Nigeria — A popular TikTok content creator known as Disturbing, famed for his role in the “Justice for Mohbad” movement, has died suddenly while streaming live to his followers.
The incident, which has since gone viral, captured the moment the influencer appeared to suffer a fatal medical emergency—believed by some to be a seizure—during a live broadcast. Despite visible distress, he collapsed midstream and never regained consciousness.
Confirmation of his passing came via investigative journalist Temilola Sobola, who shared the video footage with a statement mourning the TikToker’s shocking and untimely death.
Disturbing had gained prominence for his outspoken commentary and criticism of individuals connected to the late singer Mohbad. Reports indicate that, moments before his death, he was seen verbally lashing out at Mohbad’s family members and associates.
Reactions have flooded social media, with users offering varying theories about the cause of death. While some suspect drug abuse, others point to possible spiritual or medical causes, including stroke or hypertension.
One user, @MezieAbia, warned, “Young people should leave hard drugs alone. Hard drugs kill silently.” Another, @GuyMr0, attributed the incident to divine timing, claiming, “His time was up; everyone will die eventually.”
Meanwhile, a few commentators have called for medical autopsy and official confirmation, urging the public to avoid unverified assumptions.
