Liverpool, England — Liverpool Football Club has officially confirmed that star forward, Mohamed Salah, has signed a fresh two-year contract extension, keeping him at Anfield until the summer of 2027.
The deal marks a continuation of Salah’s remarkable journey with the Reds, extending his stay to a decade since arriving from AS Roma in 2017. The Egypt international, who has become a talismanic figure for the club, expressed his excitement about the new chapter.
Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com, Salah said, “I’m thrilled to continue my journey here. We’ve always had a strong team, but I believe this current squad has the potential to achieve even greater things. That’s one of the main reasons I decided to stay.”
Reflecting on his time in Merseyside, the 31-year-old described his Liverpool years as the best of his career. “I’ve enjoyed every moment – on and off the pitch. This club means so much to me, and I hope to make more unforgettable memories over the next two years,” he added.
With 32 goals in 45 appearances so far this season, Salah continues to be a central figure in Liverpool’s attacking force. His performances have solidified his legendary status at the club, helping deliver multiple trophies including the Premier League and UEFA Champions League.
“To the fans, I want to say thank you. Your support means everything. I believe we can win more major trophies together, so keep backing us,” Salah concluded with optimism for the seasons ahead.
The new deal is seen as a major boost to Liverpool’s ambitions, as the club eyes further success under manager Jürgen Klopp.
