Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson-Okojie has taken legal action against a beauty brand, Zandas Beauty and Fragrance International Industries Limited, for using her intellectual property and image without her authorization.
She has also officially ended her endorsement deal with the company. In a statement issued by her lawyer, she clarified that her contractual relationship with Zandas had terminated in October 2022 and warned of legal consequences for any continued use of her image to market their products. Despite efforts to halt such usage, the company had not complied with her requests.
