Nigeria _ Senator Ned Nwoko has categorically denied rumors alleging plans to marry Nollywood actress Chika Ike as his seventh wife, describing the claims as “entirely baseless” and “a product of malicious speculation”.
In an official statement, Nwoko’s office dismissed reports of the senator’s supposed comments on musician Tuface Idibia and polygamy, labeling them as false. The statement emphasized that as a public figure, Nwoko is often targeted by attention-seeking bloggers fabricating stories. However, the senator remains focused on his national assignment and committed to delivering on his political mandate, leaving no time for distractions. Nwoko’s office urged media practitioners to verify information before publication and warned against spreading false news, advising the public to rely on official statements for accurate information.
