“The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) recently signed the Civil Aviation Masterplan (CAMP) with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The agreement was sealed during a visit by NCAA’s Director General, Captain Musa Nuhu, to ICAO’s headquarters in Montreal, Canada.
According to Captain Musa Nuhu, the implementation of the Masterplan will create new opportunities in Nigeria’s aviation industry, contributing to the nation’s economic growth and development. The plan involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure its success.
In another development, Captain Musa Nuhu, along with Mr. Karl Legba, Director General of Benin Republic’s Civil Aviation Authority, signed the Aeronautical Search and Rescue (SAR) Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on August 3, 2023. The MoU aims to enhance flight safety in the region.
Moreover, additional SAR agreements between Nigeria and Togo were also signed at ANAC Togo headquarters in Lome. Captain Musa Nuhu, along with Col. Latta Gnama, Director ANAC Togo, represented their respective countries during the signing.
Captain Nuhu expressed that more SAR MoUs with neighboring countries are expected to be finalized within the next few weeks.”
