Kano Govt distributes free school uniforms to 789,000 pupils

Nigeria _ The Kano State Government has commenced the distribution of free school uniforms to 789,000 pupils across 7,092 primary schools in the state’s 44 Local Government Areas

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf launched the initiative at Government House, Kano, emphasizing that improving education standards is a key priority of his administration. The free uniforms aim to alleviate the financial burden on families struggling to meet their children’s educational needs, while also promoting school enrollment and reducing the number of out-of-school children in the state.
