Kebbi state, Nigeria – A group of bandits, suspected to be from the Lakurawa group, launched a deadly attack on Alhaji Lawal Black Farm and nearby Fulani settlements in Natsini village, Argungu Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
The incident resulted in the deaths of two policemen and the theft of an unspecified number of cows. According to SP Nafiu Abubakar, Public Relations Officer of the Kebbi State Police Command, police officers quickly responded to the scene, engaging the bandits in a gunfight and forcing them to flee with gunshot wounds .The police were able to recover some of the stolen cattle. Commissioner of Police Bello Mohammed Sani condemned the incident and reaffirmed the police’s commitment to addressing security challenges in Kebbi State.
