Borno Governor Announces Fuel Subsidy for Farmers

 Borno state, NigeriaBorno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has announced a significant reduction in the price of petrol for farmers in the state, slashing the cost from N1,000 – N1,200 per litre to N600 per litre

This move aims to support farmers in communities affected by the Boko Haram insurgency and boost food production in the state. Zulum made this announcement during the distribution of agricultural inputs to over 5,000 displaced farmers in Bama town, emphasizing that the subsidy will alleviate financial hardships faced by farmers in conflict-affected areas .
